There a bit going on at present cant see anybody with a big hammer just yet, couple of empty large flatback trucks went round the Warrington Old Road side of the warehouses.
There was a bloke again with a 7ft pole with a disc on top, got told its some sort of satellite measuring device, another fella videoing the perimeter of the site.

We could have done with that line still being open - we could have had 'Rugby L' trains running to Widnes next season. Travelling problems solved then. l o l

I think we owe a big thanks to Mr and Mrs Gruntfuttock and all the other contributors for all the hard work they have done on this post....especially those in far away and possibly sunnier climes

Nowt happening this morning on the stadium site, but some action where the new bridge is going, JCB doing some digging, looks like they are fencing the area off.

Went up the linkway past the new roundabout entrance to the site and there was a notice displayed saying Entance to Stadium Site via peasley cross entrance so it looks as though we have some progress

There's one thing about all this if ever (god forbid) there was an accident or incident on the site that needed witnesses as to what happened they won't be short of them will they ? It's going to be a nightmare for the boys working on this site ,they aren't going to be able to get away with anything ,no bad workmanship ,sneaking off early on Friday afternoon for a sly pint. You lot will have 'em nailed ,with photographs to prove it

Should imagine it will all kick off Tuesday'ish, for mine, looks like they are polishing off some of the pre-condition that the contractor has to do.
    Perimeter fencing with gate's etc.

Some good photos there from a different angle. I would imagine in a couple of weeks we might see some big changes i.e. demolition etc.

Are we going to have a similar thread when they start to demolish Knowsley Road ? I think it would be too painful to watch so many memories turning to dust.
