This isn't fair lol I want to see for myself what is going on. Thanks for the info.
Are you looking here

or maybe here

is the west stand a side or an end(behing sticks)
It's about a 70 ton capacity crane (max lift) so hardly a giant as crawlers go as they only typically start from around 50 ton, but given the length of jib it's rigged with it will only be good for 3 or 4 ton at the radius (or reach) it will be working at. So it will be used for lifting the steel work at higher levels, overhangs, roof etc.
So i think iv got this all wrong in my head then.............. the west stand is the one that has its back to the haulage firm...... the one they started on first? and the pitch will run from jk philips to the retail park? and the front will be facing peasley cross lane?
I thought the pitch was going to run from peasly cross lane to the back of the new tesco
well Neither stand is complete so it will look small
Pre-Match drinks?
try the George Hotel , George St
St Helens , A real Saints pub
it looks like the west stand isnt as steep as the south stand
mass pour on north stand has started.

Think ill go and have a look at the progress after work today, really throwin it up now.
Dont own a camera SP, anyway big pour on the North stand is right, past half way when I got there, should be boxed off for about 3ish.
They look to be running out of steel, very little left on the floor and none on trailers, at least it shows they are keeping to schedule.
The West stand has had some steelwork added to the back of it, giving more depth to the struture, dont think the South will be linked to the West just yet as that corner is used as an access to the inner stadium, add to that they are now errecting the East end of the South stand.
Just been reading on the Star website that everything is on schedule for completion in October and work will gather pace over the next 3 months. With the roof going on some time in July
KNOWSLEY ROAD 1890-2010. A part of history soon to be no more...the place that meant so much to so many people. Farewell old lady, forever in our hearts.
some more steel for the stadium has arrived. Just dont ask what stand it is for lol.
Well when i was looking after work, the cranes where at the side of the jk phillips warehouses, so they're probably starting that side now.
