    Apart from what's left of the main stand, you wouldn't even know there used to be a rugby ground there. Will be going up to have a look when I'm next up on a brighter note, stopping at my mates for 4 nights and she lives just up the road from the new ground, so will be good to see how it's progressing each day

    Could be mistaken but when I drove past this afternoon it looked like the roof was starting to come off what is left of the Family Stand.

    Still in tact, popped by last night. Absolutely gut wrenching looking at it now, and as it was early dark it looked very haunting. At least seeing the new ground after, lifted my spirits

    Today, they have started bulldozing the last bit of the Family Stand, they've taken the roof down and started on the side to the left hand side. Not much will be there come tomorrow I presume, so head down for one last look anyone!

    True indeed, drove past this morning and the Family Stand is sagging. Didn't know if it was due to the strong winds/weather etc but it now seems official. I fully expect it to be gone by the time I drive past tonight.

    I walked up those steps into C Stand for the last 30 odd years. Very sad to see, but kinda glad from a personal point of view that it was the last bit standing!

    What does paul s****horpe mean i " cannot believe that Knowlsey road is still abuilding site according to some of the reads on here they have had plenty of time to finish it .
