She manages to avoid placing us at all! But of course Leeds are the team of champions, and Wire's been tweaked upward and Wigan are bound to back up because they've recruited three Aussies!

Senior,Peacock, Lauitiiti, Leuluai, all signing new deals is great news for other teams i think. Peacock isnt the player he was, and is, so, so slow, and is coming back from quite a bad injury. McGuire will also need to find his form as he too, is returning from injury.

However, injuries will play a big part for us i feel... Espeically when we have let a few good young back up players go.
I do feel if we are at more or less full strength that we can certainly challenge for the top 2 again. Leeds i dont think will get into the top 4... They'll be dissapointing again this year

It be back to usual, saints make semi of CC minimum, probably the final this year, Saints reach the Grand Final, probably win it this year... wire will be out first round the cup due to being picked against Cass away, Mathers will destroy them single handed. Wire will not win a play off game. Pies to finish 4th, leeds 3rd, bradford 2nd, saints 1st... pretty much the same for us lot, semis or finals galore to look forward to.

Any of the "big 4" could finish in any of the top 4 positions and any 2 of them could easily make the GF. Everything depends on form and injuries going into the playoffs once the tedious league slog is over and that is impossible to predict. All things being equal I'd expect Wigan top and Leeds in 4th with us and Dire fighting out 2nd and 3rd but anything is possible come the playoffs.

I quite like her actually. But given that we were in the Grand Final last season I think her assessment of us is slightly weird. It seems pundits generally like to write us off these days. That's ok I guess in that there are no expectations to meet but why are Leeds the team of champions when they only got to the Challenge Cup final last season but she's basically said we are nowhere yet we made it to the Grand Final, after a ridiculous number of injuries? Are we not a team of champions as well? After all, we have won the championship!
I don't want to hi-jack the thread but can anyone tell me if the 2hour programme on SKY at 8pm tonight is a repeat.
I would imagine it is because it's a review of the 2010 season and that is what the show was during the Christmas break. I really enjoyed that programme, except for the last 10 minutes.
I think her and phil clarke have predicted warrington to be in the grand final for the last 5 years or so! as for leeds the effect of their 3 straight grnad final wins has not worn off. Even though they were very averge last year every time they were on tele (which was pretty much every week) the commentary team were bumming them, win, lose or draw!
