    Default New Captain?

Sorry if there is already a Thread for this.
Just wondering if Saints have picked there Captain for next season yet & if not who people would choose as Captain given the chance.

According to a thread on RLFANS, its Wello. I thought Graham may have been given it as an incentive.

gotta be Graham for me, not only as an incentive to stay, but because he's not afraid to speak his mind, he'd make a great captain IMO

Wello, with Jammer vice captain. Jammer already does a lot of talking to the players, ie under the posts after conceding. He tends to lose his temper a bit too often and needs to mature a bit before being given the responsibility of the role full time.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

    Does it really matter?

Wigan got ridiculed last year for having five captains, but it worked well for us.

It does to us because imo we were rudderless at times last season.

But didn't you have the greatest Saints player of all time (according to some ) as captain last year.

Yes indeed, but not for more than 50-60 minutes a game. We looked completely clueless whenever he was off the pitch last year and completely transformed every time he came on, almost without exception. Replacing his drive, leadership and organisation is what Saints desperately need to find now more than anything else.
