    Default St Helens Town

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where St Helens Town will play their home games this season? The bulldozers move into Knowsley Road on November 1st, so they may get a few home games in before the demolition begins. Also are they moving into the new stadium? Ive never heard any announcements if they are.

Usual fare when town get turfed out of Knowsley Road, which is not unusual, is for them to play at Prescot. I would expect this to be the case again.

The bulldozers don't actually move into the ground till 2nd January, so it's possible that they might be playing there up to then.

Rather unfortunately, it would appear the last ever game at Knowsley Road will be a football match watched by about 100 people.

I've heard Ashton Athletic's Brocstedes Park ground is most likely to see Town games.

It says on the Wikipedia page (so not sure how reliable) for the stadium that they will be tenants there. Bit annoying for our own St Helens rugby-league stadium to have football markings on the pitch

Alas, the soccer team will be playing on our nice new pitch. We must still want Sport England money.
