One of my Favourites 'Midnight Express' is on Channel 4 tonight. It's a true story too.
For a real mix id go for:
Shawshank Redemption (must see for anyone)
Star Wars (classic of the genre)
Reservoir Dogs (lanuched tarantino)
Ferris Bueller's Day Off - 80s teen classic
Sixth Sense (worth a watch as long as no one has told you the ending)
There are some crackers in that lot.
For me, 'A Beautiful Mind' was my favourite. I got half way through and didn't know what to think.
The less you know about the film before watching it, the better!!!
Not forgetting the RL films:
This Sporting Life
Up 'n Under
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
