He's got two now. One on Stanley St opposite the Met Quarter, and a new smaller one in the Liverpool 1 development. Having been in neither I can't really help!! I don't think they're too classy, but certainly a step up from say a Sports Cafe. From briefly looking at the menu I don't remember it being that badly priced.

Spot on Steve ! Grow up ...not funny...both bars are reasonably priced and have a good atmosphere to start your evening in then move on to the bold st slater st area to finish at 6 am...have a good night ....Hope you are not suggesting Sintillins is in any way classy by comparison ?

Nice bar carra has, and promotes healthy food to... like deep fried lettuce.
It is quite nice, the staff are all very friendly. The food was great and it's nice that they do it in the healthiest way possible. The cocktails are really nice too! I've been twice, it would be a nice place to start an evening for a quiet drink and then go on somewhere else or to have a meal.
Does he employ a fat Spanish waiter with a goatee and as he takes your coat and searches the pockets does he say " ok der lar sit yerself down Manuel 'll be ere in a tick like" in that famous South Sefton twang of his.
On the Back foot looking for the front one.
