    Thumbs up Charity Comitee

Im on the charity commitee at work and each quarter we have £650 to give to one local charity or this amount may be split between a number of registered charitable organisations.

February is our next meeting where we decide which organisations receive our donation. Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

    I need to know;

    Name of charity
    UK registered charity Y/N
    Charity registration number
    Contact address,including postcode
A brief description of what the charity does
    how much would you like to be donated (£100, £150, £200, £250, £300, £400, £500)
How will the donation be used

    Points to note

    • Support is only given to Uk and ROI registered charities and non-profit making organisations
    • The groups supported must focus on families
    • Donations to charities are restricted to one per charity year
    • National charities are restricted to requests from their head office only
    • We will only send donations to the registered head office address. We are unable to process requests wher only a home address is given or where there is no business address for the organisation

We are unfortunately unable to support all causes; the following fall outside our criteria:

    • Individuals
    • Third parties - individual or groups raising funds on behalf of charities
    • Overseas charities or projects
    • Political or campaigning groups
    • Religious groups
    • Music, Art and Entertainment
    • Animal welfare
    • Advertisement
    • School capital projects and specialist college status
    • Projects funded from local or central government

    Any suggestions please PM me

    Thanks

Why not help Doogal with The 2Simple Trust for children with Neuroblastoma.

We awarded £300 to Zoes Place which will be used to buy a new clinical trolley

Any other ideas for local charities would be appreciated - next meeting is in 3 months

    Cheers
