Default Friendly against Wakefield next year...?

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2008...rl-pryce-wigan

Kear himself has been forced to take a back seat in Wakefield's preparations for 2009 after a hip replacement operation, leaving his assistant Paul Broadbent to take charge for their three pre-season fixtures against Leeds on Boxing Day then Castleford and St Helens early next year.

    anyone know any further details?

Posted 28th October 2008 and I was not the first one. I had a moan at the time that Saints did not seem to be marketing it very well. I imagine you are not the only person not to know much about it.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

It's Wello's Testimonial and has been in the fixtures forum for a while. Maybe people should start to check there more often?

maybe the first place to look for Saints fixtures shouldnt be the fans forum...perhaps an announcement on the Saints news page might have been appropriate, especially considering that it is a Testimonial game for one of our top players.
