Meninga what a star. It was great when he trampeled all over edwards in the lancs cup final at wigan. As for a non saints player it has to be hanley

yep,but Mr Larger used to get lost,or Big Mal went for a walkabout
Mal was that good etheir winger would get the ball, ofcourse after Mal had ran over most of the other teams pack.Talk about Men v Boys,I know the Aussies where fitter but no wonder the touring side were unbeatable-totally diferent class!!!!
Wally Lewis and Ellery Hanley are the best two I have had the pleasure of watching.
Little doubt though Murphy was the greatest player ever to play the game.
Mark Bailey, no question...
...must remember to take all the tablets
1 Hanley
2 Offiah
= 3 Jamie Lyon/Jason Robinson.
Of all the players I have seen live, rather than on old VT, I would say Andrew Johns, Darren Lockyer and Brett Kenny.
From an English (Welsh) point of view I would say KC is the best player in our comp that I have seen in my 30ish years of watching RL.
Murphy by a distance. If you think Rob Burrows is fast, spud would leave him. Most influential player of his generation at scrum half, stand off or centre.
Its a toss up between Aitchison and Bibey for me!!!
In all seriousness, I couldn't pick a stand out individual.
Andrew Johns has to be up there.

As someone who started watching in '89 it has to be KC for me. There'll be no replacing him I'm afraid and his retiring may herald the end of an era.
Stacey Jones must have been up there he had a few outstanding years as did Henry Paul, a few brits not mentioned Jonathan Davies,Scully,Farrell and I know a lynch mob may hunt me down for this but there was a spell when Gary Connolly could have played anywhere in the backs and still been worlds best,it is difficult to see past Hanley but nowadays he would have had to have more of a kicking game i think but im sure he would have adapted.
Kieron Cunningham, weve all been lucky to see such a great player play for Saints, the best Australian was Big Mal,who I didnt see play for Saints but I did see him play for Oz.Would loved to have seen Wally Lewis,Peter Sterling and Brett Kenny play in the flesh instead of on video and youtube.
only been watching rugby league since 1994 i would go with paul newlove best centre saints have had in last 20 years if not best player
