Does anyone happen to have the link to the Council page with the stadium plans/elevations on?
This is the planning application page. The plans are more general arrangement drawings rather than detailed drawings with elevations ,etc.

Just hope there's a crispy cod in one stand !!

What you need to do is click on the above address, then scroll down to, Level 00 general arrangement plan, and the following 01 and 02 general arrangement plans, then blow up on the drawing on those pages, it gives all the details about the new stadium, you have the ground floor of the main stand on one page and the upper floor on another page, its a bit tricky keeping the drawing centre page but well worth it.
It gives all the info you require and more about the new stadium.

Would like to say thanks to everyone who has posted picture updates. I've been at uni in sheffield so ive not been able to see the developments.
The images from the council website look good too but i think it still should be an all seater stadium.
I know, worse atmosphere etc but i think we need to get with the 21st century.
Why? What is wrong with having a mix of seated and standing to allow fans to make the decision which they prefer? Surely thats the best way to keep everyone happy?
And compared to what we have now I would say we will defiently be "getting with the 21st Century" won't we!
What do you class as a big chunk of support? To me that sounds like several thousand and I very much doubt that.

The whole support is several thousand!! If only 200 stop going that at £18 a head and including only 5 cup/playoff matches is nearly £70,000 A decent players salary in other words, I would call that a big chunk.
There are only 3 facts on this issue.
1. All seater MAY bring in some new fans
2. Only time will tell if new fans become die hards
3. All seater WILL turn some dies hards away
I am a customer, I want a product, that product is to watch Rugby League in an environment and in a way I wish, when that is removed then so is my custom.
There is only one ground where you get problems not being able to stand and watch your team, that is Huddersfield, and that is also the place that most fans I know are not arsed about attending.

Supporting us supporting Saints.
But your risking numbers who WILL stay away hoping that some new supporters MIGHT become regulars.
It won't be anyway, the plans already have the standing areas set behind the goals, that will do me.
I just hate the fact that some people would think it is a good idea to remove choice.

Leaving a choice of sitting or standing is certainly the best way forward really, a layout like Warrington have would in my opinion be the better choice as it gives people plenty of choice between sitting and standing and ends or side.
