But wont there be a new bridge making the walking journey much quicker when the stadium opens?
Didnt Saints do a survey a few years ago about which parts of the borough the fans came from. Prety sure a high percentage were from the Sutton end. I think ISSA may have done It for the club.
Time walking from Dunriding lane is 30 minutes
Oh for god sake - 4 pages worth . They are not building it in the Outer Hebrides . Its not going to be that different for the vast majority getting to the new place .
Lets just be glad its coming - can't wait for a picture of a bloke with a shovel , then we can all talk about something else .
ISSA did a survey way back in 2000 I think it was, the club didn't have much idea where their customer base was, so ISSA decided to find out, I don't have the figures, but I seem to remember 33% came from Haydock and a similar amount from Eccleston, the rest i'm not sure.
We took the finding and gave them to the club, but the stadium was a dead horse from the beginning back then.
