Also, none of the work that has gone on at the UG site recently has anything to do with the stadium.

Always your year
we knew that , as it`s on the wrong side of the site from where the Stadium is going , I never said they were building the stadium, just that there was activity on the site and this is what it looks like! for all the fans who couldn`t see for themselvesAlso, none of the work that has gone on at the UG site recently has anything to do with the stadium.
Pre-Match drinks?
try the George Hotel , George St
St Helens , A real Saints pub
Still finding it hard to believe the whole thing is still going ahead in light of the current economic climate...
I know for a fact the issue of the Bottle building / Monument hasnt been resolved yet.. funding/mantenance et al ?
Also wasnt part of the deal based upon the sale value of KR ??? In this climate ( where land values are at rock bottom !!! ) who in their right mind is going to give top dollar for KR ???
Don't think the sums add up as of yet !
THIS YEAR LENDING SUPPORT TO:- St. Helens RLFC, Manchester City, Celtic, Alemannia Aachen, Borussia Dortmund, Preston North End, Steps 1 to 6 Non-League Football
I think this thread has been hijacked by the local chapter of pesimissts (sp) anonymous. They're using it to spread their downbeat mantra to all who will read it.
Please •••••• off back to supporting Man City or back to the Black Bull where you will be happy find your pint glass half empty.
The work wasn't due to start this year and guess what it hasn't. Planning permission was given Pending a satisfactory solution to the bottle shop- the bloody thing is a 300 year old derelict building- its going to take a bit of thought to stop it falling on someones head.
The chairman has said the buying of knowsley road is not a problem - I believe him
get over yourselves
Looks like the stadium is starting to have a knock on effect , the retail park in Peasley Cross Lane is having a load of work done, several new shop are going up, can only be because there's going to be plenty of people knocking about in that area in 2 years time.
