Been looking at plans for new stadium and comparing them to the halliwell Jones, and Wigans DW as a guide.
A couple of things have stood out.
The Wolves away terrace has 5 rows of crash barriers. The end terrace on Saints plans appear to show 6 rows of crash barriers. Thereby indicating the increased size of the terraces at Saints. The capacity of Wires end terrace was originally set at just shy of 4k, however after overcorwding issues it was cut to 3500. Saints new end terrace has a stipulated capacity of 3884.
In addition, the seated stands at Saints show 22 rows of seats. I counted just 20 rows in Wires main stand.
The corporate hospitality and entertainment capacity of Saints new main South stand, is greater than the entire corporate capacity at the HJ, and also bigger than Wigans main West stand. Wigans overall corporate facilities are however slightly higher due to facilities in their North and South stands
Do executive boxes get seats in front of the box (outside)? I wouldn't consider a box unless they had.
I have taken a more detailed look at the plans...

This document shows the box capacity - the two rows outside you referred to exactly match the capacity of the boxes. This works well at Man City and with this format they should be able to sell plenty of them.
If you increase the size enough it says, Super riser for lounges. a riser is a posh chair I believe.
On one of the plans it shows doors leading on to the seated area from the boxes, cant for the life of me find it now.
is the main south stand going to be three tiers? i heard it was...
With the Main stand having 3 floors will this mean it will have a larger capacity than the opposite side? If the standing ends have a capacity of around 3.8k each the sides must add up to around 10k between them. Anyone know the capacity of each side?

ST HELENS - SUPER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS... AND STILL THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB OF THE SL ERA!
North Stand.
4,635 + 42 wheelchair, = 4,677.
South Stand,
5,002 + 31 wheelchair, = 5,033, plus Boxes 360 + 26 wheelchair = 386, Total = 5,419.
West Terrace.
62 seated + 22 wheelchair, 3,800 standing = 3884.
East Terrace.
46 seated + 18 wheelchair, 3,940 standing = 4,004.
There are 4 floors in the main stand if you count the TV gantry.

It is still basically a single tiered stand, the boardroom seating is cut out to allow the top dogs to walk out from the board room box to their seating.
Whilst I want to SEE things, is anyone else getting as stupidly excited as I am about this now?
WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF POOR BEN FLOWER?!
I wonder which ' end' will become the main hardcore home support one ?
Anybody got any info on seat pitch? While Wembleyesque room cannot be expected it would be nice not to be as squashed in as the JJB North Stand for example.
