Happy days. GARBAGE for 89 minutes. Reasonable for 31. Thoroughly lucky but that's life. Oh and the prodigal son returns.

Credit to Standard Liege for pushing us all the way, made me realise that we're still not good enough to win prem. Drastic action needs to be taken, either signings or tictacs.

And people wonder why i like rugby more than football. Too much money in football now, prima donna players.

    C'mon Saints
Fair play mate for saying it how it is. I dont rate Liverpool at all and think you will struggle in the prem again. They need to find a system to accomodate Keane otherwise it runs the risk of not getting the best out of Torres. Gutted they won last night but have seen nothing to fear for the Utd game on 13th September. Especially given that we should have some players returning.

Gerrard big miss as well. No creative influence from the middle of the park and I think Man Utd will win. Torres has struggled against Ferdinand and Vidic in the past. When's Ronaldo back? What did you make of the champs League draw? I think all the English teams will go through comfortably not sure about Celtic this time Villareal are a better side from what they've faced in recent years.

Gerrard wont miss the Utd game thats for sure. He will be back for that one. Ronaldo should be back mid-October. Have to say that we have probably got the easiest draw so cant moan at that one.

Liverpool were sh*te yesterday. There's no way they'll get near the title unless they buy some quality wide players. They are far too one dimensional to trouble United and Chelsea.

City have been taken over by Abu Dhabi, which is great news for Man City. No more worrying over money.

Today's early transfer deals - Pavyluchenko and Corluka to Tottenham.

I heard that though City or United it's a no-brainer really.

If Man Utd can't agree a fee with Tottenham, it won't even come to that.
