Clarke and Carney pre and post match are generally okay, you may not agree with every point they make but their discussion is reasonable, not deliberately controversial, but also ask some good questions of the game. I also like listening to their guests, Wilkin, McGuire, Hanley have all been interesting to hear, Cunningham last night was good too. However I think having a rotation is spot on.
The flip side is the commentary is shocking, they just can't seem to get it right, they're almost trying to be like the cricket commentators, but it doesn't work when it's not five days.
The commentators don't work, Arthur and Proe constantly get the names wrong and any excitement seems forced, Pyke I don't mind, but again struggles to hit the peaks of the game. Mark Wilson has done the odd game, and possibly deserves a chance. If I would say anything it's probably too cluttered, we have Commentator, O Connor, McDermott, then Clarke and sometimes John Wells chipping in.
I'm still gutted I didn't hear the end of Clarke's story about Wigan on a Tuesday night
