Most sense said in this thread. Wigan are currently champions so they are the benchmark until someone dethrones them. Winning all these nothing games throughout the pointless regular season means little if you’re left without a trophy

It's true and it's a shame that we have a system that renders the majority of the season meaningless.
Sooner or later people will vote with their feet and just turn up for the so called "business end".
The every minute matters mantra was codswallop.
That said Saints have proved themselves to be head and shoulders above the rest this year ( so far).
At least the latest of many play off structures does provide some advantages to the top performing teams.
Always thought it odd you could go the full season undefeated and lose one final game in October and not win anything.
