ive been hunting round for one myself, luckily not as an xmas prezzie for anyone tho !!

anyway you can pay around 230-250 on ebay at moment, your best bet is searhing for listings within 10 miles of of were you are, that way you can save he 25 quid p and p they want and collect it.

amazon france or germany have them in stock and will ship to the uk.

I think one of them has stopped accepting uk post codes but the other still does.

Good luck to you. I hope you get one but if you do you'll be very lucky. It's in massive demand but short supply.

Thanks for that link. I've been trying European sites for a few days, but a lot have stopped supplying the UK.

I've ordered one (£222 including courier). I'll post on here to confirm arrival. Supposed to be 24hrs delivery.

Note:

Site is Spanish, but reverts to English once you put your address in.
You need a Paypal account.
You will need an adapter for the power supply (just a 2-pin to 3-pin converter).

No probs, glad you found the link useful.

I ordered one late Friday, received a despatch e-mail today from UPS, the courier, so all seems to be ok.

Thanks for the tip about the adapter!

Likewise!! Excellent - quicker than ordering from a UK site (even if any of them had 'em in stock!)

For the best chance to get a normal price Wii (£180) have the following websites open in a separate tab/window whenever you are on-line; the websites both have an option which flashes up a warning when new stock arrives (also, set up one-click buying from Amazon - this removes the chance of the stock going while you are entering your details - I got one last week doing this late one night).

http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/
http://www.wiigamereviews.co.uk/wii_stock.aspx

But watch - many are overpriced or are free only with very expensive phone contracts.

Have you lot lost the plot?

ADAPTER?

Cut the European plug off and wire on a British one. It's not rocket science, it's GCSE science!!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/physics/electricity/mainselectricityrev2.shtml

And if that's too complicated for you, try this link:

http://www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/elec_HOW_TO_WIRE_A_PLUG.htm

Adapter = £3 plus a trip to Maplin (nearest one to St Helens is in Warrington)

13A Plug = 50p from any supermarket or DIY shop.

Yes, it is.

Excellent customer service too, very quick delivery, not overpriced either - the increased cost came from the postage / carriage costs.

But be aware if ou need to return under warranty then you will need to replace the 2 pin , which i think is imposs as its moulded to the wire on the wii ;)

As the two above posts. I can't recommend this site enough, ordered Sunday, I paid them Monday by bank transfer and it was on my doorstep Wednesday morning. Superb, especially considering I didnt even pay for the quickest bank transfer or the quickest delivery from them!!!

Cheers for the tip chaps
