Ok I have credit for 12 songs on iTunes but I have to use them by the end of October ...

I'm into Alt/indie music and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good songs for me to download ..... ?

Preview before you buy by double clicking the track name but I guess you know that already.

Nice bit of Ian Brown, little slice of portishead, tiny sniff of simple minds and their belfast child, a wee sip of a bit of Timmy Mallet also.

For quiet times - Nick Drake
Good eld bop - Pigeon Detectives

Other people i like atm are Tom Vek, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon.

For the EMO shiznit, that 30 seconds to Mars are quite catchy.

I already had stuff by Ian Brown, Portishead, Nick Drake, Pigeon Detectives, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon. So I ended up getting some tracks by The Loungs, Shuffle, Holy F**k, Guster, Dead 60's and a classic from Spacemen 3 .....

Takes me over 40 gigs on my iPod *lol*

The new iPod Classic has 160Gb for less wonga than the previous 80Gb iPod. That's around 3 months worth of songs if played non-stop.

Starting today and playing for 2 hours a day without repeating any songs, it would finally complete it's entire memory in time for the Grand Final in 2010.

By which time it will have probably burnt out!
