Theres a link on the BBC RL page.
No Maurie for me. Dont believe he should be in the squad because he's samoan but hey, that's been discussed in another thread. Think they should give Gardner a go - Theres no-one else!! Give the leeds half-backs the start but may change McGuire for Pryce if he sh1ts his pants when he runs at the Kiwi forwards!

What say you?

I'd pretty much go with that team, but put Hodgson in for Gardner and maybe Burgess on the bench.

Yeah, I was umming and ahhing between Gardner and Hodgson. I'd have no objections at all if Hodgson got in ahead of Ade.

If you included Burgess who would you drop from the bench?

Wilkin.

Burgess was the one player last week who really got stuck into them in a way Wilkin didn't last year. I also think we need a bit of size against a big team.

For me it's either Wilkin or Sinfield, and Sinfield has had an excellent end to the season.

That's OK with me, maybe swap Burgess and Peacock round though.

O'Loughlin on the bench is interesting, I thought he had a decent series in 2004 in the second row and I can't see Smith bringing Sinfield off for him.

Fair point on Wilkin. Sinfield has to be in there IMO because we are lacking in tactical kickers.

I actually like the look of Doogal's team, with Burgess starting at prop and Peacock back in the 2nd row. That gives the pack plenty of beef and aggression across the board.

Senior if Yeaman is injured as rumoured.

And then one of JJB, Sinfield or Wild to make up the 4th sub spot.

Not really difficult.

The team looks awesome up front. Morley, Burgess, Peacock and Ellis are all excellent players who are mobile, big and will put a shift in. Add Fa'asavalu, O'loughlin and Graham who will come off the bench and it's pretty relentless up front. And then you've got the creative skills and impact coming from Newton, Sinfield and Roby. The pack looks great.

The backs is a problem as usual, but I think Smith's picked the best possible 7 he could've picked. Very quick and direct in the halves (maybe a lack of guile though) and the three quarters are the best we have available. It'll be interesting to see how Gardner goes. I hope we pinpoint that side for some high bombs as Ade will have a field day.

I fear that the Newton problem is the same as the Morley problem..........we could end up with 11 men after 10 minutes.Aggression is all well and good and an integral part of the play but it has to be channelled properly. Those two in the same front row is a recipe for disaster imo.I reckon I could wind up one or both of them very easily..just what the NZ team want..just sit back and watch it happen.

Nowhere near as many as he should have had. It's only through incompetence and lack of bottle from the refs thats stopped him getting more red cards
