Is this true cos there isn't anything on the site about it or is it a joke?

If KR is set to fail the franchise system then the same system would undoubtedly fail Bradford, Wakefield, Castleford and Hull KR. KR is no worse than these and the RL would be stupid to not allow these in.

Saints could play at Houghton Road. However there might be 575,000
reason why this might not happen now.

Ah well Prescott Cables or Windle Island then.

It's amazing how bollocks spreads so far, wasn't this first mooted as a joke thread by Robinson on RLfans?

Many moons ago in the pre Mcmanus era when Saints were deep in the smelly stuff financially and considering going into administration, it was mooted by some that Saints would sell knowsley road to pay off their debts and move to Widnes ground.

I regard the current rumours as nothing more than a wind up.

.............could make good business sense in the short term. As long as long as it still meant watching the Saints no probs.

It seems the deal is done, Mc Manus and Myler struck the deal at 4pm this afternoon.
Great news for both clubs I feel.
