I don't know if anybody else has noticed but at the past few finals despite our victory the queen classic "We are the Champions seems to have stopped being played. Personally I am gutted! It seems to be replaced by the over played and over rated "Is the way to Amarillo!" I know after winning a final a song doesn't seem that important but I know i certainly miss it and would love to hear it played at Old Trafford! Some traditions should never die and in my opinion this is one of them!

I heard it last year at Old Trafford but it was ages after we had lifted the trophy and the ground had almost emptied.. Didn't hear at Wembley and waited for ages for it to be played.. It should be the first song to be played in my opinion.. It always used to be and i miss the gossebumps it gives me when i hear it..

The Quo's Rocking All Over the World has been the first song choice recently, followed by Jeff Beck's "Hi-Ho Silver lining". I'd love to hear We Are The Champions played when more people were still in the ground lol

Technically when you win the cup, you're not the champions of anything, you've just won a cup.
A win at OT makes us champions.
I may just be clutching at straws but that's how I see it.

I waited until Wembley stadium was empty and can confirm it was not played but was at OT and twickers last year. Also I agree it should be the first song played.

I think it may be considered politically incorrect as it contains the line ' no time for losers'. We don't want to hurt anybody's feelings, do we? :???:

balls to being PC. too much of that bollox these days. today on Sky Sports during the cricket, David Gower issued an apology to anyone who may have been offended by the commentary during the previous over. Dunno what they said exactly but if I didn't notice then it couldn't have been much.

Oh no! Not 'Simply the best'!

Too much association with Wigan.

It's a kind of magic,
One dream one soul, one prize, one goal
One golden glance of what should be

We could divide the crowd up and each section take a part of Bohemian Rhadsody

Which bit do you want?

Fozzy and Graham, very, very fright'ning
(Fa'asavalu.) Fa'asavalu (Fa'asavalu.) Fa'asavalu, Fa'asavalu figaro
Magnifico. I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go
Roby! No, we will not let you go
(Let him go!) Roby! We will not let you go
(Let him go!) Roby! We will not let you go
(Let me go.) Will not let you go
(Let me go.) Will not let you go. (Let me go.) Ah
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
(Oh mama mia, mama mia.) Mama mia, let me go
Mo Lindsay is a devil put aside for me, for me, for me

etc. etc.
