am sorry to report that Linda died last Tuesday after a four year battle with cancer. Many Saints' fans will know Linda as a lifelong supporter and instrumental in the setting up of the ISSA. She embodied the positivity that helped to change the Saints over the past 8 years

The funeral will take place this Wednesday at St Luke's Church, Knowsley Road at 10 a.m. and Her husband Stan welcomes those who knew Linda well to attend the service at the church, the crematorium and gathering at the Greenalls Club thereafter.

To know Linda was to love her, may she rest in peace.

Linda's smile always made me happy, such a sad loss to Saints and her family.

Sadly I won't be able to make the funeral as it clashes with another funeral, but I will think about her at at 10am and hopefully we can all remember her together in some form at Fridays game.

A week tinged with great joy and sadness for me.

God bless you Linda.

I wonder if Saints will have a minutes silence/applause for her? She's put alot into ISSA and Saints over the years and deserves it.

Condolences to the family, a very sad loss. :(

I've no idea, i'm certain whatever happens Eamonn and Stan will do whatever they feel is right and if that means having or not having a minutes silence or applause (my own personal favourite) then so be it. I know many of the players knew her personally and I would think that Friday will be a day for us all to remember Linda.
