It appears the RFL have agreed Monday night rugby as part of the sky sports 5 year deal. The first match will be May 21st and run until early August.

The most interesting thing out of that is the news that the BBC will only screen 1 Challenge Cup game per round until the Quarter Finals. Will this make the one game they show in the 4th and 5th rounds a more 'must-see' game and will it maybe help crowd figures if only one game is on the box, or are we setting ourselves up for a fall if we end up with (for example) Warrington v Wigan and Saints v Leeds in the 5th Round and the BBC can only show one game?

Not a fan as a paying spectator, but the game needs the publicity and I will be intriqued to see how the viewing figures stack up.
