Great news for our game, just wonder why JP gets all the attention / pics while Wilko will be running the show.
Couldn't have picked a better chairman, extremely knowledgeable, articulate and an obvious media face for RL.

Long overdue. The clueless morons who run the game haven't considered player welfare at all for such a long time now. I hope they all get their say on getting themselves better pay and a more comfortable life, all of which they deserve.

Talk some sense!

I've said it before but Jon Wilkin has a massive part to play in the future of our game, he has a growing influence and commands great respect.

Once he hangs up his boots rather than going into coaching or anything like that he should push to be involved in the running of the game as he understands it and speaks an awful lot of sense when talking about everything from player welfare, expansion, salary cap etc.

I agree.. Wilkin's knowledge of the game is second to none.. Great ambassador for the game

Do Wilkin and Co have the skills and experience to run a trade union?

Interesting article, and does make you wonder, albeit from the gmb obvious bias, if they have a point

Peacock is the captain of the national team,it's probably that.
