Still a fairly strong 13 although the bench is pretty small.

Looks about right - would be tempted to start with TP on the bench as that bench is seriously lacking in impact.
Hopefully we get a couple back for the Wire game. Awful news that Wheeler is injured again already.

Not heard much about Magennis this year, really impressed last year before getting injured. Anyone any ideas as to whether he's fit?
Other option is Meli to centre and Armstrong on wing.
Always struggle at Salford, without our two captains we need another blinder from Robes and some additional minutes from TP and LMS.

We must have a U20 prop that we can put on the bench, otherwise Frodsham going out on loan rather than dual reg looks like a big mistake.

How on earth do we get so many injuries? I was really hoping this year we'd get a bit more luck but we're already without 5 players and we're only in week two.

I think it was a mistake letting Frodsham, Johnson and Hargreaves all go. We need cover for prop and while we do have Magennis, he has been another injury-prone player. It was short-sighted of the club to let so many go at once before Josh Perry was even fit.
Damn shame about Wheeler in particular. I really hoped his body would hold up this season but a muscle tear isn't good news.
Everybody else reading Twitter too then?
Looks like it!

Wello's is a hangover from last season. Jammer was hardly injured at all last season so that is unusual. Wheeler isn't unusual and nor is Pryce.

Unbelieveable injuries already, how on earth do the keep happening? And I hope it's third time lucky Salford away!

I feel sorry for him too. But he has one advantage this season: he's experienced at it! Hopefully it won't be for long. But he has to be the guy to do it. There is no-one left.

Is this news from an official source? I dont use Twitter, which I think that is where this has come from, so I have got no idea how reliable this is.
Nothing on the Saints website yet but I am guessing they wouldn't be in a rush to advertise this bad news so soon if it is true.

Shocking luck on the injuries front as per usual, and poor wheeler, how many games can he play without getting injured. It's a worry that we have five already this year, especially before Salford. It's one place we struggle so much even with a full team, let alone with a weakened side.
Hope we can pull something out the bag.

It would not surprise me if Jammer, Pryce and Wheeler are all fit for the Wire game.
Seems to me like a bit of squad rotation to rest players with knocks.

I hope you're right, i'm sure if it's not serious they will give Jammer more injections to help him through.
I just LOVE his determination and willingness to perform, we are so lucky to have such a player!

Must also be aware than Nathan Ashe is a full back or a centre and can also play 6 so i'm sure he will be an option. Almost due to be in the 19 because he can play 3 of the 4 positions we have injured. Forster is also an option he is a big unit who can play prop at 20's maybe a big step at first team though. Thats the same with Anthony Walker as well.

Well, they are all signed up to the first team aren't they? (Not sure about Anthony Walker though, but the others certainly are) If they are signed up to the first team then at some point they will get first team action. Bound to. We haven't managed a week without an injury yet!
