latest reports are that they have managed to contain the fire before it had chance to spread. It was caused by a transformer blowing up.

Awful stuff going on with the weather in Australia at the moment.

Real tough times for queenslanders at the moment, hope the RL community gets together for a charity rugby match. Plenty of freshly retired RL chaps out there to get a team together and have a mess about and get some $ raised.

Bad times.

I'm sure I heard someone shout 'I'm a celebrity - get me out of here.'

In reality it is not something to be laughed at. I hope things don't get any worse for the people of Queensland. The sights we are seeing are awful and I for one feel for those people affected by the floods.

I think it even came up higher than this - first three rows of seats were covered I believe. For thoughs that have been to Suncorp Stadium, you may know that it is actually quite built up with the inner city by-pass road running almost underneath (but along side) it. That means the water must have been very deep.

Luckly it looks like the worst may now be over...with 1,000's badly effected, but not as many as might have been feared a few days ago.

If that was here and on sky, that game would be played.
